I was born on October 1, 1910 in Rowena, Texas. I am the second daughter of three children by Emma and Charles Parker. My father died when I was just 4 years old and we moved in with my mother's parents to get by.
When I was 15 years old I met a man whom I thought was the love of my life. We dropped out of high school and got married just 6 days before my 16th birthday. Roy Thornton and I were madly in love. Shortly after our marriage though Roy would often disappear or get in trouble with the law causing the break up between me and Roy. Though we were separated we never divorced. I was wearing our wedding ring on the day I died.
A couple years later I was staying with a friend Clarence assisting her with a broken arm. As I was in the kitchen fixing up hot chocolate a man by the name of Clyde came by for a visit. It was love at first sight. The beginning of 'Bonnie & Clyde'.
Clyde and I began our journey in 1932 with small robberies at stores and gas stations trying to collect money. A few months later we committed our first murder. We got caught and spent many months in jail where I liked to write a lot of poetry. Later I was reunited with Clyde. After, we continued our spree committing crime after crime. We became very famous for our rebellious acts against the law. I loved the attention but most of all I loved spending every second with Clyde never leaving his side.
